Always wear a helmet. Ride in designated lanes where available. Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Maximum speed: 25 km/h for e-scooters and e-bikes, 45 km/h for electric mopeds. Yield to pedestrians. Use lights and reflectors at night. Do not carry passengers unless the vehicle is designed for it.
Riding on sidewalks is prohibited except for children under 14. Use bike lanes on Khreshchatyk St and along the Dnipro embankment. Parking is allowed only in designated areas.
E-scooters are allowed on bike paths and roads with speed limits up to 50 km/h. The central pedestrian zone (Rynok Square) is off-limits. Use designated parking racks.
Riding on the promenade (Primorsky Boulevard) is prohibited. Use bike lanes on French Boulevard. Electric mopeds must be registered and insured if exceeding 45 km/h.
